As we enter 2026, we celebrate a milestone that means a great deal to us. Paramount Global is turning 50. This anniversary gives us a chance to honor our past, reflect on our journey, and look ahead with excitement and purpose.

How Our Story Began
Our story started in 1976 with one car, a trunk full of paint cans, and a founder with grit and passion. Jack Gample spent his early days selling paint cans out of his El Camino. He built relationships one conversation at a time and laid the foundation for a company grounded in service, reliability, and trust.
A lot has changed since those early days. What began as a small operation has grown into a multimillion-dollar organization with 14 locations across the United States and the United Kingdom. We now employ more than 100 team members who bring expertise, heart, and long-term commitment to every part of our work.
A New Era of Leadership and Expansion

Jack’s son, Jay Gample, took over the business in 2015. Under Jay’s leadership, Paramount Global expanded far beyond its industrial roots. Today, we support a wide range of industries, with significant growth in the consumer packaged goods sector. Current industries we serve include:

We have also expanded into freight with a growing fleet of company-owned trucks. This fleet helps us manage our supply chain, support our customers, and meet our on-time delivery goals. It strengthens our ability to move products quickly, reduce delays, and maintain the level of service our partners expect.
This growth reflects our dedication to solving problems, understanding customer needs, and innovating in meaningful ways.
Celebrating Our 50th Anniversary With a Special Design

To mark our 50th year, we debuted a custom-illustrated design at RICE Day, our end-of-year employee appreciation event. The illustrated artwork was created by Anderson Bros Design and incorporates our new 50-year logo, designed by Primate Designs. This artwork highlights key elements from our history and the spirit that shaped us.
The design includes:
- A 1976 El Camino, like the one Jack used when he first sold paint cans from the trunk
- Paint cans that represent the original packaging we offered
- A California beach atmosphere that honors our Southern California roots and the many joyrides Jay shared with his dad along the Esplanade
- A freeway sign near the 50-year logo that recalls childhood road trips and the sense of adventure that has guided our journey
- A background featuring bottles and packaging shaping the LA skyline and reflecting how our business has evolved over the last 50 years
Each detail tells a piece of our story. Together, they celebrate where we came from and the values that still guide us.
The Culture Behind Our Success

Growth alone does not define us. Our people do. We are proud of our strong company culture and the dedication shown by our team. Many employees have been with us for more than 5, 10, and even 20 years. Their experience and loyalty help shape the environment that sets Paramount Global apart.
