Winter FancyFaire* 2026 Recap

We kicked off 2026 by exhibiting at the Winter FancyFaire*, organized by the Specialty Food Association. This marked Paramount’s fourth time exhibiting at the show, and it continues to be a valuable way to connect with brands across the specialty food industry. After several years in Las Vegas, the event moved to San Diego, CA. The show took place at the San Diego Convention Center from Sunday, January 11th through Tuesday, January 13th. The new location brought a strong presence of California-based companies, and the show is set to return to San Diego again next year.
Winter FancyFaire* 2026 gathers a dynamic mix of industry leaders and innovators for 3 days of networking and education. It was a great opportunity to engage with new and longstanding customers, as well as gain insights into what brands are prioritizing when it comes to packaging.
Packaging Trends and Insights from the Show Floor
Throughout the show, we saw consistent interest in dispensing closures for a wide range of applications, along with pouches, glass components, and recyclable materials. Many attendees asked about gusseted pouches with spouts, which came up often in conversations. We also had a lot of discussions about jars for products like probiotics, yogurt, nut butters, condiments, and sauces. Several brands shared interest in glass packaging, while also exploring larger bulk formats in plastic.
Beyond networking, the educational presentations offered valuable insights into consumer research and emerging product trends. Overall, the event was an enriching experience that kept us informed about the latest developments in the specialty food industry.
Why Winter FancyFaire Matters for Specialty Food Brands
The Winter FancyFaire* consistently attracts everyone, from household brand names to emerging stars in the specialty food space. The show is a reliable platform for initiating new business relationships and strengthening existing ones. We appreciated the chance to connect with so many brands and partners and look forward to building on these conversations in the year ahead.
The 2026 Summer Fancy Food Show will return to the Javits Center in New York from June 28th to 30th.
The Specialty Food Association (SFA), founded in 1952, is a not-for-profit, membership-based trade association representing over 3,000 businesses.
