Paramount Global Celebrates 50 Years
On February 27, 2026, Paramount Global gathered employees, partners, and friends at its Southern California headquarters to celebrate 50 years in business.

Celebrating 50 Years at Our La Mirada Headquarters
On an unseasonably warm Friday afternoon, we welcomed 170 guests to our La Mirada headquarters. A large tent filled the parking lot with music, food, drinks, and conversation. Our recently remodeled offices were also open to visitors and offered a welcome reprieve from the heat.

From Humble Beginnings to a Global Operation
As we gathered to celebrate, we took time to reflect on how far we have come and where our story first began. Paramount started with humble beginnings. Our founder, Jack Gample, sold paint cans out of the back of his 1975 El Camino, fueled by grit, passion, budding relationships, and a belief in doing things differently with a people-first approach. Today, that same spirit lives on as Jack’s son, Jay Gample, leads Paramount Global, guiding our teams across the US and the UK while continuing to grow the business into its next chapter.

During the ceremony, we heard from leaders and employees, past and present, who helped shape Paramount over the years. Our founder, Jack, shared a heartfelt reflection on the early days and the growth that followed since opening in 1976. “This hasn’t just been a business for me,” Jack said. “This has been a life journey.”

A Legacy Built on Partnership and Purpose
That sentiment continues to guide how we operate today. Paramount is a legacy passed from father to son and strengthened by employees, partners, customers, and vendors who believe in what we are building and have remained with us as we’ve evolved. From the beginning, true partnership has been at the heart of our company, and it remains one of our guiding principles as we move forward.

The People Behind 50 Years of Paramount Global
That legacy lives on through the people who have helped build Paramount along the way. We measure our success not just by growth, but by the people who show up every day. Many members of our team have been with us for more than a decade, shaping our culture through their commitment and care.

One of the most meaningful moments of the celebration came when Gus, one of our longest‑standing employees who retired in 2023, returned to mark our 50th anniversary and share a few words. His presence was a powerful reminder that this company has always been about more than the work. It has been about the people behind it.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed to this journey and helped make Paramount what it is today.

Looking Ahead to the Next 50 Years
That shared sense of commitment is what carries us forward. As we celebrate 50 years in business, we remain focused on the future we are building together. We will continue to grow our capabilities, expand our reach, and strengthen the partnerships that matter most. Our journey from a single El Camino to a global operation shows what can happen when passion, teamwork, and purpose come together.
Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this milestone, and to everyone who has been part of our story. We look forward to the next 50 years and all the opportunities ahead.
