The caps commonly paired with metal oblongs, conetops, and monotops are the distinct features of metal continuous thread caps. Metal continous threads are built to endure harsh chemical products along with their metal container counterparts. The metal closures are commonly used to seal liquid chemical products. To ensure a secure seal, linings such as pulp-foli and pulp-solvseals are available. Due to the chemical nature of products commonly sealed by metal closures, child resistant versions of the closures are also available.
