We’re excited to announce that Paramount Global won two awards at this year’s NACD Packaging Awards, which took place at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville.
These awards highlight innovation, creativity, and excellence across the packaging industry. This year, our team was recognized for two projects that move packaging forward in meaningful ways.
SnapSlide Earns Gold for Best Use of Stock Components
Category: Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical | Award: Gold, Best Use of Stock Components

SnapSlide offers a new take on child-resistant pharmaceutical packaging. Its design uses a simple press-and-slide opening, making the package easier to use while still meeting strict safety standards.
This design means users no longer need a strong grip or both hands to open the package. Patients can open and close it with one hand, making it easier for people with limited dexterity. For many Americans with arthritis or Parkinson’s disease, this added usability can be life-changing.
The SnapSlide system has a simple two-part design with a vial and a low-profile closure. Instead of the usual push-and-turn caps, the closure slides open in a controlled way. This makes it easier to use while still being child-resistant. It also fits with current pharmacy filling and labeling systems, making it easier to adopt.
Sustainability is also important. The design uses over 25 percent less plastic than standard prescription bottles and allows more units to fit in each carton. This reduces both material use and shipping impact.
Paramount Global’s Global Key Account Manager Joe Simich led this project, with help from Vice President of Sales and Marketing Brian Cole and the SnapSlide team. Together, they turned this patented idea into a market-ready solution that is already popular with consumers.
Pour Tous Earns Bronze for Best Use of Stock Components
Category: Personal Care | Award: Bronze, Best Use of Stock Components

The Pour Tous skincare system shows how good design can turn stock packaging into a strong brand experience. Made for a younger, social-first audience, the packaging helps the brand stand out in a crowded personal care market.
Paramount Global created a system for three main products that balances bold looks with everyday use. The packaging uses bright colors, clear typography, and a uniform design to give a modern, polished feel.
Each product has its own color theme but keeps the same design style. This helps build brand recognition and makes it easy for customers to tell the products apart. The 30 ml and 50 ml bottles use airless square bottles with color-matched pumps, while the 15 ml size uses a dropper for precise use. A twist feature protects the pump and allows for controlled dispensing.
The result is packaging that looks great both online and in stores. It works well across e-commerce, social media, and retail, helping Pour Tous build a strong and consistent brand.
Our Senior Business Development Executive, Matt Beard, led this project. His work helped Klen Earth Products build a unique identity that connects with today’s consumers while using stock components in a smart and strategic way.
